New Orleans Black To The Roots Retreat

Our next retreat is set for Labor Day weekend in New Orleans Louisiana! The theme for this retreat is “Black To The Roots”

We will be exploring our history in what was once the center of the American slave trade headed by the French. This is where the majority of our ancestors touched base before being sold off to the various plantations across the Southeast.

Some of the retreat activities include guided tours around the French Quarter and Slave Plantations, private vegan food catering by the city’s most iconic vegan Chef Nola, Special music and poetry performances by city renowned artists, educational speeches from historical figures in the community, Guided Cemetery Tours, Private Group Yoga and Sound Healing Meditations and much much more.

Meals and Housing are included. Airfare is separate. Transportation to and from airport not included. Local transportation will not be needed as we will be traveling via New Orleans street car and also walking distance from many of the main attractions.
